Greeting
Dear Daddy,
This blog contains birthday wishes for you from people near and far. It is evident that you are loved by many and that you make an impact wherever you go.
I hope you enjoy reading your "birthday cards" and that your birthday is as wonderful as YOU are!
WE ALL LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!
From Mary
Belated, but very sincere wishes for your 60th birthday! I realized when I hit that milestone what a great privilege it is to live so long. In fact, I've grown rather impatient with folks who complain about growing old, when it's such a marvelous gift! Enjoy! Congratulations!
With every best wish, Mary and John Lehoczky

How can I even begin to thank you for this journey that God has allowed us to share with each other?
Guess I would start it when we were in 7thgrade until today some 48 years later. I am very blessed to call you my husband and my very best friend. I could write a novel but Keri might not publish it – so I'll just say happy birthday to my sweetheart!!
I'll love you forever,
Becky

Happiest birthday!!!!

From Keri
When I was small you picked me up,
You held me tight, consoled my fright.
You made me laugh by tickling me
By talking weird like "thouest thee"
By hanging socks from both your ears
And sticking your tongue thru napkins
And most of all, you made me smile by imitating me....
When I was young you picked me up
You taught me well, as most could tell
Like how to pray and act and live
And how to share and how to give
When I grew up you picked me up
And dusted off the broken stuff
You always love and always care
Even when I've made it tough
You showed me how to really love
By loving Mom and us kids
But the biggest way was when you showed me how I should forgive.
You prepared me for my husband
And taught me how to be loved
Of all the things you sent my way
I'm most grateful for His blood.
And even now, you pick me up
You're always there, with steady love
On rotten days you tell me jokes
And build me up with words
And help me see the funny part
Of whatever life incurs.
Our never-ending pun contest is my favorite. :)
I love you, TAD!

Happy happy birthday to you! I am so privileged to call you Uncle and to have your family as my own. How I loved elementary school years sharing a back fence and growing up as siblings, not just cousins, with Keri and Ryan. I love remembering your funny noises, charades and games as we waited for baby Emily to be born! I love how we frequently get to see you even now, how you love my children, how you have befriended my husband. I sure do love you!
I love the steadfast example you have set for us all. You are faithful to our beloved Memaw and Papaw. You are faithful to your wife and your kids. You are faithful to our heavenly Father, no matter what. Through all the trials, the confusion, the set backs of my growing up years, you remained faithful. You believed God with all your heart- that He was for you and for your family. You believed a Holy God over any man. You were and are unwavering in your devotion to Him. I give Papaw some credit for setting such a tremendous example for you :) but even more I credit our Loving God for His relentless pursuit of you, of Becky, of Keri and of Ryan. And I give you the honor now, on your 60th birthday :), of knowing that I saw and see your devotion and it encourages me and all who know and see you!
If I had to write only one word for you, it would be this: my Uncle Ken is FAITHFUL. Few things in life remain that stable, secure and unwavering. You and your love for God are one of those few. I praise God for giving you to our family. I praise Him for His faithfulness to us. And I honor you for you faithfulness to Him. Happy Birthday! May you feel His pleasure and blessings over you today and always!
Love you so much!

Ken,
Well, IT is here my friend. The great "6-00000". Some people fear it. Some people dose off. Some people hit the rip-cord. I know you my friend. You'll pull back on the stick and do the loops! You usually go "loopy" for our staff meetings. As I tell people, you always provide the stand-up comedy. And as I also say, you are "good medicine" for us. You are "Special" and I mean that it a good way.
Ken, you have blessed many lives in your 60 years and I/we are recipients of God's blessings through you. Thank you for making us all better.
Happy Birthday!!!
Keith

Can't believe you are the BIG 60 because we are not that old ourselves and your mom is just 3 1/2 months older than Aunt Carolyn - so somewhere - someone has the figures down wrong. You and Neil should still be going to Duck Creek to go fishing or riding motorcycles out to Harmon's pit - guess you have always had an angel on your shoulder to help you survive the creek flood and motorcycle crashes.
Love,

Too many wonderful memories to relate all but oh how we shared in such good times, in golf in Angel Fire plus all that went with that. "Family tournaments, seeing big herds of elk, seeing bears around the club house and on our back deck, and of course skiing for those of you who skied.
Ken we are thankful for you with your great spirit in love of your Lord, your funny quips at the drop of a hat, and for the wonderful way you care for and love our precious Becky. We love you Ken and pray for many more years to come in health and happiness. God Bless you and your role as Paw-pa. (Oh he is so wonderful)

Happy Birthday, Ken!
Sixty is not what it used to be. Now I read books they talk about an elderly person. When they get around to telling the character's age, they're in their 60's! They can't walk without a limp. They can't climb stairs. They're ready for the nursing home! Well we aren't!! 60 is the new 50… or after further thought maybe 40! Mind over matter! If you don't mind it don't matter! Let's not mind! Let's just keep going like the "energizer bunny!" Now come on. Get your cane! We're going out!!
Luv ya much!

I've been blessed by you my whole life -- yes that means you're older than me! :)
I love that you never meet a stranger, that you are so patient, kind, compassionate, considerate and have such a servant heart. When I need a good laugh I can always count on your incredibly corny jokes or play on words! I can't help but smile when you play your mouth trumpet (I don't know what else to call it) or thump your cheek to create drops - even though I've heard it a thousand times! :) You are one of a kind and I'm so glad you're my brother!
Have fun celebrating! You deserve the BEST day!
love you brother dear!

This is for everyone else to know how wonderful it is to have YOU as a
cousin.........while traveling through Tyler, I drop in on my sweet
cousins, Ken and Becky. They are more than hospitable. They allow me
to rest in the "coma" room giving the most peaceful quiet and dark
atmosphere. I sleep like a baby in that room. Not only that, coffee is
served bright and early with the most cheerful welcoming
voice.....that would be yours Ken! You are amazing in how you have
gone out of your way to make me and whomever is with me feel warmly
welcome. I appreciate that more than you will ever know. I know you
are always busy, but you drop everything to host. THAT IS A WONDERFUL
GIFT!
Hopefully one day, I will make people feel as loved and significant as
you do!!!!
With much love and celebration, I send you the best of wishes for this
landmark birthday!!!! OK, I was alluding to the number, but I can't
make this just sappy!!!!
Love ya Ken......and Becky!!!
